UBISOFT
Summary
In 2016, Ubisoft commissioned our agency to help them improve their digital ecosystem.
We started by helping them completely redesign their online store in 2018, then we continued working together throughout 2019 on its continuous improvement.
Role
UX Designer
2018 - 2019
Chosen example:
Addition of a new "wallet" payment feature on the online store.
Context
Following the redesign of their online store, e-commerce became their largest sales channel with revenue multiplied by 6 between 2016 and 2019. However, this growth curve was slowing down due to increasingly fierce competition. The ambition was therefore to facilitate the shopping experience by offering users a new payment method: “The wallet”
It had to be simple, fast, accessible across the entire ecosystem (website, launcher, and in-game) and offer rewards.
My role was to:
Identify and formalize key user journeys for the future wallet
Create wireframes
Support UI Designers during design creation
Identify key journeys
Co-design workshops with client teams
To fully understand the needs, constraints, and also capture ideas from our video game specialist clients, we started by organizing various co-design workshops.
I was responsible for preparing and facilitating these workshops.

Identification of rewards related to wallet usage
Formalize key journeys
Following these workshops, I began working on the identified key journeys. The objective was to align all teams on wallet-related journeys before moving on to wireframe creation.
Zoning
With key journeys validated, I formalized the zoning of different pages. The objective was to align teams on the content and information architecture of each page.
Wireframes
To help our clients better visualize how the wallet would look in their ecosystem, I chose to use existing mockups created by UI Designers, to modify them and add wallet elements.
